Photography Books

Bluecoat Press specialises in photojournalism about the everyday lives of people, with a particular emphasis on the British. Its brief is to honour past masters, such as Picture Post photographers Bert Hardy and Kurt Hutton, as well as current practitioners. Titles published to date include the pioneering colour work of John Bulmer and Patrick Ward, a fascinating pictorial essay about football supporters by Stuart Roy Clarke and Peter Dench’s often hilarious but also bleak take on the almost unavoidable presence of alcohol in English life.

Submissions from photographers are always welcome.
